Spicy seafood soup is to die for. My favorite! Very nice level of spicy and great flavor. Will definitely be back for more. I also want to try their sweet and sour pork.
A hidden gem in the food court of Zion market. Got the jajang noodles and it was good.
Their black bean noodles (jajangmyun, i got their gan jajang pictured below) are the best in the area and their fried pork with sweet and sour sauce(tangsuyuk) is one of the best I’ve ever had - crispy on outside and tender inside and perfect amount of chewyness! Will definitely be back!
Highly recommend the jja jiang - only wish they provided sides. They weren’t as friendly as I would expect for a 5 starred place. They didn’t look busy either, at the time.
I crossed over to the dark side today and ordered the kopegki jja jjang myeon for a change. It was larger than I expected. When I was getting a little bit dry on sauce, one of the employees came out and brought me a bowl of sauce and said “you looked like you needed more sauce”, and that my friends is why you should try this place out. It is one of the only places in DFW where you can get authentic “tastes like the ones in Korean diners in Korea” for this price. The only bad part is that the dining area gets crowded sometimes and people are always walking past you because it’s near an entrance. The XL one is 13.99 the regular size one is 10.99 . Can’t beat those prices in this inflation riddled economy. The diner is inside Zion Market food court if you are confused where it is on your maps.
Got the Garlic Soy Sauce Shrimp. Very good.
I ordered Jjajangmyeon and Kkanpunggi. These were foods that were faithful to the basics. Both had plenty of meat and were well seasoned.
Jjajang myeon (black bean noodle) is #1 in DFW area. Needless to say. This is the best Chinese restaurant. Adding update. All staffs started wearing masks. Will keep eyes on them for a while. Tasty noodles and reasonable price. BUT most of staffs don’t wear masks!! I never seen esp. the owner wears mask. Even kitchen guys also didn’t. Well well how they have great teamwork with No Masks for cooking. Only counter female wore it.
